At G&G, Bob Dowling designs the software that’s embedded in new products and updates the code for products in the field.He has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from RPI, a Bachelor’s from Georgia Tech, and completed the GE Advanced Course in Engineering. After serving in the US Navy, Bob worked for GE and Bechtel, gaining 2 decades of experience on large defense projects. He has also enjoyed working at smaller companies that pushed the state-of-the-art in data acquisition or nanotechnology, which is what attracted him to G&G, along with its culture of trusting each other to get things done. Bob is active in community service, plays hockey, enjoys traveling, and relishes his “grandpa duty” on weekends.
