The RRX is an extremely compact LED luminaire design to be tolerant of radiation within the harsh environment of an accelerator. Engineered only with materials with a high threshold displacement energy, the RRX does not contain any traditional silicon semiconductor devices that are easily damaged by radiation. The seamless 1″ low-profile housing enables the fixtures to be mounted in almost any location and its innovative direct-AC driverless technology provides extreme reliability and zero maintenance. RRX is built to last in a typical radiation accelerator application where most are immediately met with catastrophic failure.
Radiation Resistant
Does not contain any traditional silicon semiconductor devices (ie. MOFSETs), which are easily damaged by radiation. Instead, RRX contains only material with a high threshold displacement energy, such as GaN and SiC.
Compact Low-Profile Design
1″ round patented linear housing provides a remarkably slim low profile, allowing installation in almost any application. The design is lightweight, incredibly easy to mount and creates a modern, sleek result.
Maintenance Free, Driverless Design
Innovative driverless design allows the fixture to connect directly to AC line voltage without a traditional LED driver or electrolytic capacitors for extreme reliability and lifetime. Requires zero maintenance.
Coextruded Copolyester / Aluminum Housing
Our patented process combines copolyester and aluminum together with no seals or gaskets. The result is a single piece enclosure with excellent heatsinking characteristics for long lifetime.
Made in the USA
All of G&G’s products are engineered, tested, manufactured, assembled and shipped from one facility in Clifton Park, New York with industry-leading turnaround times. Compliant with the Buy American Act.
